As the Golden boys head into week 2 of the campaign they’ll be looking to build upon what was a refreshing and optimistic display at Vicarage Road last Saturday.

Javi Gracia’s men face up to former Hornet, Sean Dyche who will be leading his Burnley squad after back-to-back games without score.

Last time out the Golden Boys fell short up against the Clarets after the away side scored twice in 3 minutes to run away 2-1 winners.

Burnley bos Sean Dyche after Southampton draw: “Some of the chances we created and some of the football we played I was very pleased with.

Watford boss Javi Gracia after win over Brighton: “I am very happy because we got a good result but the way we did it was even better.

“We controlled the game, created many chances and Brighton didn’t have any shots on target.”

Predictions

Javi Gracia’s men will be going into this fixture brimming with confidence after a convincing victory over Brighton & Hove Albion last weekend whereas Sean Dyche’s Burnley will look to improve on last week’s dissapointing result up against Southampton where they’ll be looking to get their first victory of the season in front of what will be a ramped up crowd at Turf Moor on Sunday afternoon.

For me, it’s a tough one- we’ll be optimistic. 1-2 Watford.
